Apex Action Helps to Raise Money for New School Library
Last month, Apex Action donated a selection of children’s books as a Raffle Prize for The Friends of Willaston School Association PTA’s Christmas Grand Prize Draw. The draw was part of an event organised by the Friends of Willaston School aimed at raising funds for a new school library. This is a really important area for the school to have but sadly school budgets dictate that the school is unable to afford to provide it by itself.
Apex Action were delighted to receive a thank you letter this week advising that the event raised almost £3,000. This fantastic achievement means the school has now raised enough to complete the new library! In addition, they will be able to provide new rugs for Reception & Year One, as well as new rugs & bean bags for other classes for their future reading areas.
Commercial Manager, Debbie Snelson commented:
“We are aware of the continuous fundraising efforts throughout the year by the Friends of Willaston School Association & are thrilled that they have now succeeded in raising enough for their new library. What a great start to 2019!
Always happy to support with raffle prizes. We look forward to hearing about their next project!
